Check out Blake Griffin, Mark Cuban and more sports stars in upcoming go90 series ‘The 5th Quarter’


LOS ANGELES —  A sports mockumentary series is headed to Verizon’s go90. 

The Fifth Quarter, which is like a spoof of ESPN’s 30 for 30, aims to tell the “greatest untold and untrue stories throughout the history of sports.”

Mashable got an exclusive look at the trailer, above.

The first episode “But I’m Just a Little Boy,” features Los Angeles Clippers superstar Blake Griffin as Clif Cliff, a 7-year old basketball phenom. Donnell Rawlings of Chappelle’s Show plays Clif Cliff’s manipulating uncle Brian Adele, 2015-16 NBA Rookie of the Year Karl Anthony Towns cameos as a former opponent of Clif Cliff, Gary Harris of the Denver Nuggets plays a former teammate, DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings gives commentary as does billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks and Shark Tank co-host Mark Cuban.  Read more…
