Tesla will equip all its cars with full self-driving capabilities

Tesla Motors will now equip all of its electric vehicles, including the Model 3, with full self-driving hardware, the company announced Wednesday.

The California automaker said the driverless capabilities will make the car substantially safer than those steered by humans.

Model S and Model X vehicles with this new hardware are already in production, Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, said on a call with reporters.

“All cars that Tesla makes from hereon out will have the hardware needed to be fully autonomous,” he said.

Tesla cars will have Level 5 autonomy, meaning the vehicles are fully capable of driving themselves anywhere in all conditions and weather. Read more…

LOS ANGELES — “Are those your real names?”

That was the reaction one TV writer had during YouTube’s first ever Television Critics Association Day in August after hearing about YouTube comedy duo Rhett & Link’s new show Buddy System.

Yes, those are their real names. Although many at YouTube’s TCA presentation may not have recognized the duo, their 11.2 million subscribers certainly do.

The friends — whose full names are Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III — are comedians, co-hosts and now showrunners. On Wednesday, they launched their first ever scripted series Buddy System on YouTube Red. Read more…

Sometimes, you need to have a clear understanding of Hulk Hogan’s musical prowess to decode trash talk. Such is the case with the recent Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson and Patrick Carney micro feud.

Last night, notorious sourpuss Carney of the Black Keys joined the club of critics, in great company with The Chainsmokers, who aren’t really feeling “Perfect Illusion” in his new Vice News Tonight segment.
