Skywatchers spot bright fireball as it streaked across the Midwest

A bright fireball lit up dark midwinter skies above Illinois, Wisconsin and a handful of other states early Monday.

Videos show the green meteor moving slowly from southwest to northeast at around 2:30 a.m. ET Monday.

According to reports posted on the American Meteor Society’s (AMS) website, the fireball was accompanied by sound and some eyewitnesses even claim that a piece of the space rock made it all the way to the ground.

The AMS has received 222 reports about the fireball so far.

“I have never seen such a large and bright object coming through the sky,” Sheila S. said in her report from Woodstock, Illinois. “I have seen meteors of the meteor showers every August in Seattle when I was living there, but they were tiny in comparison to what I saw tonight.” Read more…

‘The Simpsons’ foretold Lady Gaga’s entire Super Bowl performance years ago

At this point, are we even surprised that The Simpsons yet again predicted something accurately?

The animated series predicted that the Star Wars franchise would continue. It also knew that at some point in American history, Donald Trump would be president and make a mess of everything.

And now people have pointed out that The Simpsons predicted what Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime performance would be.

Very relatable child loses it when the internet goes down

Same, kid. Same.

There are a few things more frustrating than Wi-Fi problems, especially when you’re dealing with internet provided by a hotel.

Like any good dad, YouTuber Rod Squad decided to record his son’s temper tantrum after he learned the hotel they were staying in changed its Wi-Fi credentials.

“Why are you crying?” Rod asked his son.

“Because the internet is dead,” the kid responded, with nearly no hope left in his voice.

Honestly, I know about 50 grown adults who would probably react the exact same way as this little dude.
